To calculate the monthly installment payments , specify the type ( flat, decreasing ) the term of the loan , the loan amount and the length of the cap . Fixed installments – the amount of such payments is always constant , but change part of the capital and interest . At the beginning of the main part of the loan is the interest payments , the amount of which decreases with subsequent repayment installments. Decreasing installments – along with the repayment of subsequent installments decreases the amount of interest payments , and capital part is always the same . Equity component of installment – covers part of borrowed capital . Some interest payments – includes accrued interest for the period of the installment .
